Selling Mutual Funds bellow quoted price?
FINRA rules prohibit Brokers or the mutual company its self (investment company) from selling securities below the quoted or public offering price, the amount in the news paper. Unless the buyer is a broker dealer, a written agreement exists between the firms, and the buying broker dealer is filling customer orders already received.
Can a Broker Dealer make a market in Mutual Funds?
No. Brokers or firms may not EVER make a market in mutual fund shares. If they say they are, report them.
